A Message from the President - July 1, 2010

Welcome to the homepage of the Trojan Club of Beach Cities ("TCBC")! Here you will find all of the details about our exciting events, including our bi-annual wine tastings, summer beach party and most notably, our TCBC Tailgates before each home football game.

Since Jack Tingley founded this athletic support group almost 26 years ago (founded in 1984), the Trojan Club of Beach Cities has remained committed to providing events where Trojans can gather and cheer on our student athletes and coaches as we take on the PAC 10 (now with 12 teams) and other notable sports teams throughout the country. So you know the TCBC is a non-profit organization governed by an all-volunteer board committed to increasing the recognition and participation in the "Athletic Support Group Membership". You can join or renew your membership by contacting the Athletic Department directly at 213-740-4155 qualifying you and your guests for discount pricing to the TCBC Tailgates and other events.

Each year, the TCBC donates all proceeds from our annual events to USC Sports teams (via the Athletic Department), typically making donations to: Men's and Women's Swimming; Men's and Women's Water polo; Men's and Women's Volleyball. This past fiscal year we were able to make a donation to Men's and Woman's Tennis teams as well.

As a board, TCBC remains committed to improving our guests Tailgate experience year after year. Every two years we put out a request for qualifications to prospective caterers in an effort to select the most qualified to hopefully continually raise the bar on the "TCBC tailgate experience". This year we are proud to have selected a highly qualified caterer for the 2010/11 football seasons and pleased that we will be able to hold "season tailgate pass" and "individual tailgate game pass" pricing to the same as last year for Athletic Support Group "members" and "non-members", however, we recommend you become a member. Our caterer is excited to be part of our tailgates and pledges to provide cold drinks and great tasting food making each home game tailgate experience an exciting, pleasant and memorable one.

As President of the Trojan Club of Beach Cities (effective July 1, 2010), I have significant shoes to fill, but I can assure you I am up to the challenge. Jason Hollander, having led the TCBC for over a decade as President will continue to assist us going forward and I very much look forward to those continued affiliations. Please join me in thanking Jason for his years of service as he has been pivotal to our organization's growth and synonymous with our success as an Athletic Support Group organization.
